It is a process in which a liquid but dry paint, impregnated in a film, which with temperature, evaporates and enters the powder base paint.
The temperature of the process causes the volatility of the paint.
This is deposited on the powder due to the capillarity of the powder increased by the plasticity caused by the temperature increase.
In such a way that the sublimable inks impregnated in the film are transferred to the powder coatings by means of temperature and pressure, thus obtaining a wood effect.
Therefore, the Wood Effect in Sublimation is obtained through the application of a base and subsequent decoration.

The profiles to be decorated are placed in a bag, created by a process called “bagging machine”. The machine welds the sublimation film by means of an ultrasonic transducer.

The profiles are connected to the casting system of the machine to make the film adhere perfectly to the surface.
The welded film must resist a strong air passage and have a good mechanical resistance.
The quality of the inks and the thickness of the film are very important in this process.
